It is not a Beach Bum or a Peach Plum, it’s a Beach Plum! The Beach Plum is a native fruit which grows mostly in the wild along the coastal communities from Maine to Virginia and because of it’s unpredictable supply from one year to the next it’s mystique continues to grow.

Our coffee is 100 % organic & Fair-trade certified. We take pride in offering our own premium blends of coffee and espresso, along with premium teas from around the world. The organic coffee beans are roasted right here in San Diego from Café Virtuoso.
Organic growing methods are more difficult and produce less coffee and tea than conventional methods, which use pesticides and synthetic fertilizers.
The good news? These methods yield a superior product and ensure the ability of the farms to continue producing indefinitely. This allows the health of the farmer, the soil, and the groundwater to thrive, conspiring to produce great coffee beans!
That is why 100% of all the coffee and tea that we offer is certified organic. Café Virtuoso is the only roaster in San Diego that has made that commitment.
Paying a fair price for coffee and tea is another way of protecting farmers’ ability to grow the highest-quality coffee possible. Many programs, like Fair Trade, work to document the dollars reaching farmers, making certain these funds are used for social programs, continuing education and steadfast crop improvement. Economic sustainability enables farming communities to flourish, providing us with our lifeblood; the world’s finest coffee!
